Shape Saver – OS X Screensaver
A few years ago, I had a desire to write an OS-X screensaver. Nothing fancy, just wanted to understand how it worked and see if I could put one together. I found a tutorial online and followed along, eventually ending up with a working screensaver. Since then I’ve spent a couple of minutes here and there tweaking that original screensaver and have dubbed it Shape Saver, since all it really does is draw random shapes on the screen.
Below are a few screenshots but the stills don’t capture the vibe of the screensaver. It’s pretty simple to download and install a screensaver for OS X, so if you’re looking for something pretty mellow, this might just be it.
