Joel’s "Super Fancy"(tm) Maximum Heart Rate [MHR] Worksheet
Here’s a quick and dirty utility to help you figure out the various heart rate zones given your Maximum Heart Rate [MHR]. If you don’t know your MHR it will calculate a very inaccurate heart rate based upon your age. The zone definitions and descriptions used are those defined in the book “The Complete Book of Long-Distance Cycling” by Edmund R. Burke and Ed Pavelka.
